Self Portrait 2021

Hey all!

This was a self portrait I decided to paint, since I realized I hadn't done so for roughly 5 years, and I wanted to be able to look at my progress between that past version, and this one! I pushed myself to also not inkdrop ever from the reference photo, like as if I was painting on canvas. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, and it makes me want to dabble more in realism, like with animals or even nature to broaden my abilities..!
Oh to note, I wasn't trying to copy the picture exactly, so I did change the lighting in what i actually painted a tiny bit, and I didn't want to paint the big fluffy jacket, but instead my favorite shirt. It's a shoulder cut out blouse with lace up the front that stops right after where I stopped painting.
